Attention PCS Internet Subscribers:
There has been a change to our previous announcement in regards to our scheduled Internet outage tonight. The scope of work being conducted this evening has resulted in moving up our timeline for this evenings work. Consumers will see loss in Internet service starting at 12AM. We do not expect this work to cause loss of service for extended periods of time. Our communications team will be working as quickly as possible to restore service as we are moving it from one set of operating systems to another. We appreciate your business and hope most of our consumers will be sleeping while we do our work. Please do not report your outage as we are causing it and are aware.
If at 8 AM Friday morning you are experiencing issues then contact our business office at 704-889-2001 to report your trouble.
We appreciate your patience during this time. We are Local... Where YOU Matter!

Pineville Communication Systems (formerly known as Pineville Telephone Company) is a full service telecommunications provider, which has supplied quality service to Pineville’s business and residential community since it was established in 1937. PCS is currently one of only two municipally owned telephone companies operating in the United States. Because PCS is municipally owned, we are able to offer our residential customers some of the lowest rates in the state.
Times have changed since those early days, but one thing has remained the same, PCS’s continued commitment to offer the most up-to date products and services to all our customers, offering a full range of features and services including broadband.
